Each shoulder of pork is dry rubbed with a smokey-sweet spice mix and slow-cooked for 15 hours, for melt-in-the-mouth tenderness. This oak-smoked sweet and tangy dish is accompanied by a traditional barbecue sauce and pickled red onions.
Firepot dehydrated meals are made by hand as a complete meal before dehydrating to maintain the texture and flavour of your food, giving you fantastic tasting meals when on expeditions, camping and travelling.
All ingredients in Firepot food are locally sourced in England, with no preservatives and the dehydrating process ensures each pouch has a two-year use-by date.
Dehydrating the meals means they are lightweight and easier to carry than ready-to-eat meals, needing just boiling water and approximately 15-minute wait time for your food to be ready.
Alternatively, they can be emptied into a pan using cold water to prepare which is useful for larger groups or family meals. Available in 610 kcal and 925 kcal servings.
