The second-generation Helikon Raccoon MK2 Backpack has been improved using feedback from real-world use making it an even better functional and lightweight tactical, hiking and every day carry pack.
With an overall capacity of 20 litres, the Raccoon has a spacious main compartment with a hydration bladder sleeve, drinking tube port and a zipped mesh pocket for smaller items.
The front compartment is full-sized with a carabiner, multiple sleeves and pen holders for organising your keys, wallet, notepads etc.
On the exterior of the Raccoon is a large Velcro panel for attaching unit or morale patches, six rows of MOLLE straps for attaching compatible MOLLE pouches and a shock cord system for holding sleeping bags, waterproof clothing and similar.
The base has two straps that can also be used to conveniently attach sleeping bags and mats.
On each side of the Raccoon are compression straps and further MOLLE straps at the bottom for pouches.
For comfort when wearing, there are padded, ergonomic shoulder straps that are adjustable and also feature quick-release buckles for easily removing the pack. A sternum strap is also included for stability and balance.
The adjustable hip belt is removable and the rear of the pack is mesh-backed to improve airflow and comfort.
