The bivvy is also supplied with a rescue whistle for signalling in an emergency situation as well as a tinder cord for quick and easy fire-starting.
The bag is made from aluminium-coated polyethylene which reflects 90% of your body heat and with sealed seams it is also waterproof and windproof.
The material is tear-resistant and can also be used as an emergency blanket when turned inside out and is quieter than other survival bags.
